Today's class was intense with great training. We also want to welcome our newest student, Charles. He was training and looking really strong. A big congratulations to new Black Belt Seth. Seth is a Jiu-Jitsu student from Cape Cod. I recently had the honor of awarding him his well deserved Black Belt. It was great to have him in class today.

They are the toughest students you'll encounter at any elementary school, summer camp or playground. They are our dedicated athletes who are learning a centuries old martial art. Big ups to the kids. Before the holiday starts, you'll need to come in to class to learn the Americana with Daniel and impress all your friends at the BBQ. After the holiday you'll need extra training to work off all those hot dogs. Come in to class to exercise your right to train!

Big shout out to Jason for his awesome idea! Let's all get together this Saturday to watch the UFC at Buffalo Wild Wings. Be sure to wear your Renzo Gracie t-shirt. And onto the celebration of our Nation... Happy Fourth of July! To celebrate this annual holiday, be sure to be in class on Saturday when Daniel will show you his all time favorite Americana. Yeah, there's more than one way to get it so be in class to learn. And we're open with the regular schedule, no holiday for us so come to RGA and train hard!

Each class saw a bunch of our most dedicated students. From the early morning, to the afternoon, to the kids class, to the fundamental class and the advanced no gi - we had a great day at the academy. Spread the word! Every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 - 1:30 RGA Stamford will have an Advanced No Gi / Advanced MMA class. This class is designed for professional fighters, as well as amateur fighters who wish to become professional. There is an additional charge for this class. Be sure to speak with Daniel about this class if you are interested!

It was a rainy, thunderstorm-y kind of day. But that didn't keep our kids class students home. The class saw Austin, Hunter and Bayler, Adu and Jaggar learning chokes and submissions. Daniel was being tapped by Adu time and time again. We had not one, but two guest Instructors at todays class. Chris A. (Jaggar's dad) was nice enough to help out and roll with the kids. And Steve (Austin's dad) stepped in to show a choke. Thanks everybody! Also, a special get well to Jaxon. See you in class next week. And we want to say hi to Chandar and Amari (see you both on Wednesday)!

Today is a very Happy day at Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Stamford. It's Daniel's Birthday!
